Lacks basic understanding of Tax law. Terrible communication. Will not return phone calls. Failure to follow up on her mistakes cost me penalties and interest. Does not stand by her work. Wouldn't let her balance my bank statement!
I would not recommend Deborah Davidson to anyone that needs to file anything more than a standard deduction return. The level of professionalism is far below any I have ever dealt with in any aspect of professional business's. Deborah, seems to be kind and knowledgable. The problems comes in on execution, organization, delivery as she NEVER does what she says she's going to do. She has forced me into filing extensions 2 years in a row on last possible day even though she had received everything from me both years in advance and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Obviously she knows she has you hooked at that point. This year I received IRS demand letters stating returns was not filed because she filed incorrectly. Once confronted, she said she know it was wrong but never corrected it or let me know. $2400 penalty!!! 3 weeks ago got notice she did file execise and county tax returns for 2 businesses for 15' , now there are penalties for those. She's been telling me every couple of days for 2 weeks that she will file and send me copy. Of course this hasn't been done yet as everything she states she will do. Now I have to file complaint with TN license board and in talks with attorney for litigation to have damages returned, plus added stress from errors and incompletions being sent to the IRS. All because she NEVER does what she says, unreliable, unorganized, and always has an excuse.
