I learn something new nearly every time I attend one of the weekend services (there are 5 services on Sat. and Sun.). Very uplifting vibe with the presence of the Lord here. Over 100 small groups meeting weekly; members are usually very supportive of one another. Many fellowship and service opportunities abound. People from many different denominations. No formal church membership but it's easy to get to know people pretty fast if you want to. Good Sunday school for the kids during services. Just a really solid Christ centered, bible based church.
Over the past 50+ years, I have attended and/or been on staff in a variety of churches, both denominational and nondenominational. I have never been part of a church with more positive attributes than Calvary Chatt. No church is perfect. How could it be, as long as they still let human beings in? That said, this church, and it's leadership team, are among the best in the world.
My first time to visit. 5 stars across the board. Music, teaching Acts 4, and then lunch. My friends from Stevenson,AL invited me as I live there also. I attend First Baptist Church in Stevenson, but I will be back to visit Calvary Chapel! So impressed!
Calvary Chapel Chattanooga ....My husband and I have attended for over 2 years and find the Worship to be very uplifting and a positive way to spend time worshiping God with his children and followers of Christ. Pastor Frank and other members of the pastoral staff always preach from the Holy Bible and the Worship praise team are awesome with music that reaches the soul. Child care is very controled and monitored so it is a safe place for your children to learn on Their level. There are large group's at each service but once you find your spot it's awesome. It's wonderful to know so many people are coming to serve and worship God together. Calvary provides multiple service times on Saturday and Sunday and special worship service on a Wednesday every few months. Join us and see for yourself!
