I have seen two different surgeons at this facility. Both were excellent doctors. Dr. Fisher and Dr. Cockerham
Dr. Joel implanted and later removed my power port used for chemotherapy. He provided excellent care and follow up at his office, was pleasant. His staff including his nurse were all kind and courteous. I would recommend these doctors and the facility to my friends, family, and anyone else who was considering their credentials. Thank you Dr. Joel for being awesome when I needed you the most.

Dr. Dowden was kind and professional. His bedside manner reassured me prior to my emergency gallbladder surgery. Very nice person.
$503 bill charged by University Surgical Associates for a simple visit as a new patient meeting their nurse practitioner M.F!!! No work done on my legs....the nurse prescribed me aspirin for $503 and a pair of firm thigh!!! No any kind of exam was done....the nurse asked me to make appointment myself (their computer system was shut down) with their office for an ultra sound and then, later, meeting "the specialist"....I called the billing dept. asking for the total price of my phlebitis care, they did not know and sent me to the coordinator who was unable to answer either and she forwarded me to a voice mail message supposed to be linked to the financial councelor of their place! That person never called me back. My question is: if I pay $503 for a visit to a nurse working at University Surgical Associates prescribing aspirin over the counter....how much will cost the ultra sound, meeting with the vein doctor and procedure???
