Really nice museum. The exhibits had well designed signage that explains the differing styles displayed in each collection of paintings. It was very instructive.
Amazing venue!!! Everyone complimented us on our choice of venue because of the gorgeous view and beautiful interior. During our dinner we watched the sun set over the water. The event contacts were very quick to respond to emails which is so important for wedding planning. Loved it!
I'm so glad we have such a great museum in our city. I've had a membership at the Hunter for as long as I've lived here because the permanent collection is vast and because there is almost always something new to get excited about. Also, come on, the location is amazing! Beautiful views from every angle.
This was really cool and a great deal. I love to visit art galleries and museums when I visit a new town and some museums are quite pricey. This one was a great price, especially for how large it is and the variety of artwork and history. We came after we had breakfast and came back after getting lunch. It does take some time to walk through the entire museum. The current rotating exhibit was really awesome. The artist was the creator of sets for PeeWee's Playhouse among other really recognizable things to those who grew up in the 80s & 90s.
We had a corporate event at the Hunter in the evening and it was beautiful! We received many compliments from our guests with how everything ran smoothly and they enjoyed looked at the art during the event. AND especially the patio overlooking the river. If you need to host a party or corporate event, this place is it. Stephanie was great to work with and was on top of everything.
