This theater is absolutely beautiful and the show was amazing! Iron and Wine killed it and it was a great place for a romantic date night out. The staff was very helpful in finding our seats for us and they were also very nice. I'd love to see another show here!
Intimate setting. Always enjoy coming here. Great for a date night. And Alton Brown is hilarious
If out of town acts bring their own speaker system sometimes the sound is much too loud... Locally the symphony and Opera does an excellent job with good balanced acoustics
I love the Tivoli. It’s a staple in Chattanooga history with all the vibes of old theaters. I recently saw the Nutcracker by the Chattanooga Ballet here with my son’s class and it was great! As a makeup/special effects artists, I have worked backstage here before. It’s crowded but it was a lot of fun!
The only thing I have an issue with here are the size of the seats. If you are even the slightest bit overweight, it will be very uncomfortable to sit in one of their seats for very long. I was told that they do have very few, (as in...maybe 10?) bigger seats available, but they were in a different area. It would have made me feel like an outcast to sit in one of them. It really needs a remodel to accommodate the majority of people who are not a size 2. Other than that....the sound is always great and we always have a good time.
