Loved it
I ordered a pair of shoes for part of my boyfriends birthday present. The warehouse sent the wrong shoes so I went to the Chattanooga store and they exchanged the shoes, then we get home and the shoes they sent us home with were damaged (in their own words as well) so back to the store we go. We returned the shoes and they didn’t have the shoe in stock so the warehouse had to send us a pair. The pair they sent had animal hair on the sole and inside, it had water marks and some type of stain on it, and it was scuffed with a huge patch of deep scratches. So after 3 pairs of shoes we are getting a little frustrated. We call Chattanooga and they offer us another pair they were getting transferred from a different store. His brother called corporate to complain not about Chattanooga but about the shoes and how not once has anyone from Clark’s cared to apologize for the extremely huge inconvenience they have caused us. Well the next day I get a call saying the shoes are at the store. I call back this morning and was met with an irate extremely rude manager. She had been helpful up until this point but from corporate to her whatever conversation he had with them had spiraled into this. We tried to have a conversation with her and explain to her that we never had a problem with her and that she had been extremely helpful up until this point. We were told that they would not get another pair of shoes and that the shoes looked brand new. We could come in and get a refund and that would be the end of it. Most people would have been pissed with the first mess up and we haven’t seen a “new” pair of shoes yet. This company doesn’t care anything about their customers or the quality of their product. I haven’t ever dealt with anyone as rude as the woman today. If you want irate attitudes and shoes that seem to never be good quality or actually new then this is the store for you. I wouldn’t waste my time or money. It’s funny how willing most companies are to apologize for their mistake and make things right and exceed your expectations. You won’t find that here.
