Been quite a few times with a little boy I babysit and it's great! We went to the Halloween event recently and he had a blast on the blow up slide and horse rides. The new food in the cafeteria is also a great addition! While it's higher than I expected, it's really good food and I was fine with the price after seeing it!

This is an excellent place to bring young children or to stop by for a date with friends or significant others. Children under three years old get in for free, children three to twelve get in for $7, and teens and adults get in for $10. The prices cannot be beaten and directly contribute to the meticulous care of the animals inside, all of which are closer to guests than most other zoos. The cozy size of the Chattanooga Zoo make the experience with the animals more close and personal than I've experienced elsewhere.

Very nice day. The zoo is nice and well kept. It is a small zoo so you're not going to see elephants or giraffes. They have a small train you can ride through the zoo on. There is also a nice carousel that you can ride on. To buy food or drinks there was a bit pricey for me but others seem to think they are fair prices. They have to take in money so as to be able to keep the zoo up.

The Chattanooga Zoo is the best little zoo in America! Sitting on just under 14 acres, this tiny zoo in downtown Chattanooga offers 28 endangered species and even more non endangered and native species to enjoy.

Small zoo, which makes it a good size for a partial day outing or with kids. Some animals looked bored, but other exhibits were very well done. A good value for the money

We were in Chattanooga for one day on our trip and decided to give the zoo a chance due to its lower price (9.99 for adults). I was very impressed with what all they had here. It is a smaller zoo which we expected but it seems very well put together and they were even all decorated for Halloween. The only downside to our visit was the on-site restaurant. The prices were a bit steep and the service was not too friendly, but do not let that deter you from visiting the actual zoo.

The zoo also offers animal encounters that can be scheduled on the website, and several visitors from overseas have come to experience what the Chattanooga Zoo has to offer. The encounters have gleaming reviews and make an incredible, once in a lifetime gift.

The zoo has a simple layout and you are usually provided a map and a copy of the day's zookeeper chats upon entering. The keeper chats are engaging and educational, especially the chimpanzee training that the keepers have been doing daily at 1:30. The map gives a clear outline of all the places to stop and see, and all of the animals are usually easy to view when on display.
