No walk ins, appointment only. They give you a non working number at the desk and refuse you service unless you schedule an appointment with that non working number. The main IRS phone line will hang up on you unless you owe them money. Letters go unanswered.... why does this office exist at all...? America sucks these days. Thanks, Obama and congressional Republicans!!

5740 / 7800 Uptain rd. Confusion in the address. Same building, same IRS, though. Just 2 addresses (IRS website lists 5740, but the building sign says 7800).
I keep receiving phone calls threatening that some illegal activity was on my return... This is not true... It is taking me over a week to speak to someone to verify if I actually made a mistake or if my information has been given out to some 3rd party... The DMV has a bad reputation but this is very disappointing to be a government agency.
Came here on Wednesday noon. Around 12 noon. Only 2 people in front of me. Was done in less than 1 hour (this is very fast for a government office). Friendly and helpful staff.

And you give another number and the run around, yet you are ontop of people with fines and threats if they dont pay their taxes on time and so forth, so why are you not making every attempt to let the tax payers be able to talk to a local person????????
