Good location with a view or the river. Nice place for ice cream. Good menu but the woman working seemed to be the only one there.
So,my daughter that's 7 has rare kidney disorder which limits her intake of foods.. Ice cream being the one she gets to enjoy the least because it's a dairy.With that said, I took my kids downtown for a family day and then for ice cream as a RARE for my one daughter treat...as she is excited over it and started to eat she said "mommy there is a hair in it " so I pulled it thinking it was possible to be hers..as I pull it AND IT KEEPS COMING..I DIG DOWN IN IT AND THERE WAS A HUGE CLUMP OF IT AT THIS POINT NOT ONLY MAKING HER VEEY SAD AND SICK..MY TEENAGERS WAS ACTUALLY VOMITING!I TOOK IT BACK IN CLEARLY SHOWING THEM AND SHE MADE ANOTHER AND ASK IF I WANTED A REFUND..I SAID YES..(SPENT 32.00 ON ICE CREAM)..ONCE I SAID YES A REFUND WOULD BE THE LEAST..SHE WAS HESITANT ABOUT HOW TO EVEN DO IT..WITH 4 SICK KIDS OUTSIDE I SAID NEVERMIND AND WALKED OUT!BEEN HERE SEVERAL TIMES BUT WILL NEVER GO BACK.
I was very impressed with how careful the employees were with my daughter's nut allergy. This is the only ice cream shop she has been able to safely go to since she was diagnosed 7 years ago!
New menu items are wonderful!! The caramel apples are excellent!
Slow. Employees acting like they're doing you a favor for taking your money. First time in my life I've waited 20+ min. to get ice cream. Trash cans full, dirty floor. A commercial roll of paper as napkins. Never again. BTW I'm just passing along the experience, not a professional reviewer like the rest of this lot here giving 5 stars....
