We were expecting a wait at 7:30 on a Friday but we were able to be seated right away. The atmosphere was nice. I wasn't overly impressed with the selection on the menu. If I had a complaint it would be the service. If they were slammed and on an hour wait it would be one thing, but it wasn't real busy and our server liked to go MIA.
This is a very nice place to get good seafood dishes and a good drink.
Overall a good experience and I would definitely return for that burger
We were so impressed with her level of service, we complimented her to the manager. Inturn, Danielle was rewarded a complimentary entree that evening ( how wonderful for a restaurant to reward employees for being exemplary)! I am so impressed with this establishment; I encourage you to try this place for yourself!
The restaurant is a little more upscale along with the prices but you get good food and good service. I eaten here several times with business guests and they always enjoy the food and atmosphere. It easy to have a conversation across the table as the noise level is not too loud but I would not call it a quite place either.
Drove to Chattanooga to eat at the Blue Plate restaurant because I heard they had a delicious stuffed grilled cheese sandwich. Turns out they are closed on Mondays if you could imagine that! So I Visited this place instead. It’s a bit pricey I must say. The steaks ranged from the $20s to the mid $30s. Our waitress was prompt but it was a slow night. I ordered the pub burger and the wife ordered the crispy catfish.
The setting is pretty chill...not too fancy. I had the "Grilled Pork Chop with Apple chutney. It tasted delicious! My only complaint is that it didn't fill me up. The pork chop had a lot of bone, so not a lot of beatable meat. Had some fat, not a lot. The apples were amaaaazing though! A good dish if you just want something to eat but not starving. I sat at the bar...Stephanie & Austin were excellent! I would eat here again.
The burger and the fries were delicious. One of the better burgers I’ve had. The catfish lives up to it’s crispy name. Another minute cooking I’d say it would have been too crispy to eat. But it was still good. The chocolate cake dessert was great too. They get their beer next door at the Big River Grille.
I was here for Christmas Eve dinner and had the best overall experience. The food was fantastic and our server Danielle was incredible. She is by far one of the best servers I have ever encountered. She even offered to bring put more toast points if we ran out with our appetizer, which we did! She knew the menu very well and made great recommendations.
