As for the excellent reviews I read before I chose this salon.....well don't always base your decision on those either.
It’s a very nice salon, and I love how it looks. The lady who cut my hair did a good job and considered the way I usually style and dry my hair, but she was unfriendly and a little rough. But that’s from only one experience
When I arrived home and got a good look in the mirror of my well lit bathroom, I was highly disappointed. The blonde highlights I had asked for were more copper color with an orange tinge.
I somehow can't remember her name but the girl who did my vintage hair for my wedding did such an amazing job!!! She has short blonde hair and is so sweet!!! Good price too.

My appointment was at 9am, I showed up ten minutes early and waited outside as the door was locked. At ten minutes after 9 someone finally arrived to unlock the door. I took my seat and waited yet another ten minutes. My stylist showed up looking disheveled smelling of cigarette smoke , apologizing claiming she "had a late night."
I will not be going back.
I'm baffled at the fact that they received such high ratings.
Excellent salon, would not trust my hair to anyone else. Julie is AWESOME!!!!
Edit: I realized that my hair is uneven in the back and she didn’t touch my bangs or certain parts that needed trimming, I didn’t notice before because she didn’t dry my hair...
I had asked to have my highlights refreshed and what I left with was a total nightmare. The salon was not well lit and I should have checked my highlights outside in direct sunlight before I left. The highlights looked just okay as I sat in the chair before leaving.
I decided to go with Jessie James Hair Studio believing the good reviews I had read online.
The one who cut my hair is the woman who has long hair that fades from brown to blonde, she also seems to be a bit older than some of the others.
I ended up having to chop off 4 inches of my hair and spent a minimum of $100 in deep conditioning treatments to try and help my hair heal from the awful experience.
Even worse was the condition of my hair. It was fried. Damaged beyond repair, crunchy and a horrible mess. I wish I would have closely inspected my hair before leaving the salon as I would have demanded a refund.
Please do your homework before entrusting a salon to touch your hair.
