Great place
This is the highlight of our experience; calls weren't returned, contract wasn't honored, work was unsatisfactory.
Fast forward to now. Both palm trees have died. I started contacting the owner in February. He was supposed to come see the trees on that Saturday. He never came or called. He told us we should have wrapped the trees in burlap and added extra mulch. By this time, it was too late. He blames us for not looking up how to take care of the palms in the winter. We told him we didn't know we needed to do anything because they were supposed to be OK in TN.
After they have your money you are no longer a priority. Initial meetings and planning were fine. They proposed a design, we wanted to modify a few things and that was all ok. One thing we wanted was a couple of palm trees around our pool. We asked if there were palms that would do well in Tennessee and he said there was. We spent $1200 for two palm trees. After signing the contract, the owner didn't return until the job was completed. He did not supervise any of the planting or work that was done.
We wanted the palm trees replaced, since they are under warranty, but decided going with a different, cheaper tree that would survive the winter. After several messages back and forth, we were notified the trees weren't under warranty, because they were "Tropical trees" and it was our fault they died.
We finally agreed to have Woodrum purchase the new trees, and we would pay them for the trees, and plant them ourselves, provided they deliver the new trees and remove the dead palms. Three weeks and several messages later, still no trees.
The contract we signed stated "all plant material has a 1 year warranty if there is proper irrigation". We were also promised plant care instructions on all of our trees and plants. After a couple of weeks, one of our palm trees started turning brown, and we still hadn't received our plant care instructions. I emailed and left phone messages 13 times. I ended up sending the owner a message on Facebook. He finally came out and looked at the tree, noting the tree was not planted correctly. We were out of town when the new tree was planted. When we returned, we discovered they planted a completely different, smaller palm tree. After contacting him repeatedly, he realized the nursery had given him the wrong tree. It was replaced with the correct tree the next week. We never received the care instructions.
