I was craving some BBQ, so while I was in the area I decided to give them a try. First off, I was a party of one and my waitress pretty much treated me that way. I ordered the Baby Back-n-Meat so I could try the ribs and chopped pork. I got beans and mac n cheese for my sides. The beans weren't OK and the spicy mac n cheese was different and not too bad. I ate my sides and pulled pork first and was looking forward to saving the nice looking half rack of ribs for last. The chopped pork was pretty good and when I went to try my first rib I knew it wasn't going to be good. I tried pulling it apart (the sure sign of well cooked ribs). Nope! Fortunately I had been given a steak knife so I could saw through them. I would have sent them back, but unfortunately my waitress showed up about 5 minutes after I had finished to bring the check, so it was pretty useless. Honestly I have never had baby back ribs that tough. It was like eating a chunk of rubber and the steak knife almost wasn't enough to get through them. Sorry Famous Dave, you were pretty much mediocre at best!
Certainly worth eating here at least once (or more!).
I went to this location while visiting Chattanooga. The ribs, shoulder, and brisket were excellent. I don't recommend the burnt ends appetizer, however. It's $10 and the amount you're given is just enough to taste. We ordered the platter for 2 and will definitely choose that again on our next visit
They are kid friendly as well, and can accommodate a healthy sized group.
My wife, daughter, and I frequent here throughout the year; it's a good place for BBQ! They offer a decent sized menu with enough variety to keep things interesting - such as the All American BBQ Feast (and it's smaller siblings). There are several styles of BBQ sauces to pick from at the table as well, so you aren't stuck with one flavor. The drink selection is decent as well, ranging from draft beer to mixed drinks.
Was never greeted when I walked in, so I took a seat at the bar. No one came assist me. I had to ask a server that was walking by for a menu. When I ordered she never gave me any options just walked away very rude. Drink was slammed on the bar and she stormed away. I'm not sure if she's having a bad day or she (I would attach her name, but of course no name tag) is awlays this rude. I love the food but will never come back to this place. I feel like I'm bothering her..... oh and her name is Kristi M
I've been here twice. The second time I ordered the smoked rib-eye steak. It was awesome. I had great service. However, when asked if they had the rib-eye(not on menu), he didn't know. It was big and bold on the sign out front.
