They have some amazing teachers at the school, but some of them act out. The lunches aren't the best but I feel as though it's the most they can do. I give this school 3 stars because of the dress code; it's absolutely useless and makes the students feel uncomfortable. We do not go to military school, this is a public school and surrounding schools do not have uniforms. It's not absolutely horrible, but this school definitely isn't the first choice I'd have. I feel as though the environment would lighten up a lot more and students would enjoy school more if they would give up the uniforms and instead replace it with the freewill to wear clothes of the students' choice. I agree that there should be rules placed so that nobody shows up to school in anything inappropriate, but we are young adults; we should have the ability to express ourselves.
I give this school 2 stars , because the athletic department does not have good coaches. I am on the softball team , and the head coach did not know even how to throw a softball the assistant coach had to teach her how to throw a softball. Hey East Ridge Middle School hears a tip find better coaches not just the first person who walks through the door.
horrible school don't go it will be 3 years of torture
I hate this school. I am a parent of a student and this school sucks! My son hates it too. Kids cant even go to the bathroom when they need to, they can't go to their lockers between any class ( only at certain times), the uniforms need to go and the teachers suck. He had 1 good teacher last year. They yell at the kids for nothing and don't give a rats *$$ about the kids. My son wasn't even allowed to call me when he was sick last year
