I use to live in Chattanooga, but I moved out of town and I was home visiting for the weekend. I wanted to go out so my brother and I chose this place, Skyzoo. It was a Saturday night so there was a lot of people and they began to play good music after the crowd showed up. I happen to walk outside with my drink to speak to my uncle whom I had not seen and couldn't get in. The guy at the door proceeded to tell me I couldn't be outside with a drink. That's fine. I understand city ordinances, but before I could even tell my uncle I would talk to him later and walk back inside the guard snatched the drink out of my hand and threw it straight in the trash. He said I was trying to give it to my uncle which, I assure you, I wasn't. The security guard outside said he would get me another drink, then when I got my uncle off the premises he told me to go back inside. He was quite rude and refused to give me his name. I then proceeded to tell the man who acually threw my drink away that it was rude of him to do that. He said he had told me twice that I couldn't have a drink outside, but in all actuality he didn't give me enough time to walk back into the door. At that time, the owner of the club was coming in from outside and told me either I can go back inside or I can leave. I went back inside, but asked him why he was being so rude, especially to a lady, a first time customer, and someone that had paid into his business. He said I was taking out of his doorman's time and now I was taking his time and walked off. I give this club two stars because it seems they are quite popular, but they do not do well with confrontation. You are suppose to listen to the people who are supporting you, see what the problem is, and resolve the issue in a timely, but respectful manner. They do not want to hear one word of what you have to say. It is either their way or you are out the door. I have seen him remove 3-4 people in the time I have been here. He clearly doesn't respect us as people, or customers. Nice club, drinks are decently priced, but I would not recommend this place because customer service means everything to me. Your customers are who make your business what it is. The last thing you should do is make them feel like their dollars mean nothing to you. I am a very respectful person so the last thing I expected is to be threatened to be kicked out for voicing my concerns.
Love the place. Love the staff. And the BEST security in the entire world. :)
Bouncers nearly outnumber patrons, had a hard time getting in since they thought I was under 21. Drink prices aren't bad but the taps were all out so selection was limited. The bartender Jaimie is the only reason they get two stars. Very unfortunate
This place can't be raciest, the door guy wife is a Beautiful black lady.
Good food, great drinks & good music. I only go on Friday's when I go. It be a laid back and drama free. Everybody enjoys themselves no messy people like Saturday's.
