I rented there about a year ago, and they tried to rent me a car that had the front bumper hanging off of it. So they put me in a full size pickup for the same rate, but I spent more on gas than I did on my motel stay. They also tried to charge me for parking in their lot in back it used to be free, but they charge now. so plan on adding 8 dollars more to your daily rate. They also put tow coverage in my agreement without disclosing it to me.
I booked the smallest, cheapest car they had on 10/22/16. When I arrived they had no vehicles that size. Ben, the manager, was awesome. He gave me an upgrade to a much larger, nicer vehicle without hesitation.
I also parked my car on their lot. He waived the parking charges because the booking agent said there were no extra charges. Will most definitely rent again.
They should call this company Shifty Car Rental. I rent a lot of cars for long trips, and this location has a history of nitpicking the car when you return it, and try to find things to charge you for like cleaning fees, or for small scratches that were already on the vehicle.
Not at airport. And once we finally got shuttled to location they were out of cars even tho we had one reserved. Had to go back to airport and use enterprise
All in all I won't be renting from that location probably ever. Do yourself a favor if your local go one exit up to Shallowford Rd and rent from Enterprise, park there for free, and don't get charged for things you don't need, they have a good selection of cars and don't play games.
I've rented from here 4 different times. Each time I've gotten a new Dodge Ram truck for the price of a compact! Choose the wild card option when booking.
BUYER BEWARE!!! Thrifty will confirm your reservation online, but will tell you that they are "out of cars" when you arrive at the airport. That forces you to rent from Thrifty's sister company, Hertz, at a much high rate. Classic "bait and switch". Also, Thrifty's national customer service hotline will not help you. You've been warned.
