We are trying to go to every state park. This one was so fun! The lake is beautiful!!! The ranger was what made our trip, though! He was so kind and took his time answering our kids questions! :) Would definitely recommend!

I love this park. We hosted my sister's baby shower and my nephew's 2nd birthday here and the lodge is beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. Amazing staff.
Booker T is not the most-visited park in
Chattanooga, and it doesn't have the best in facilities there but nonetheless it is a beautiful place to fish off the docks, enjoy a picnic at one of the few picnic tables around or take a couple of chairs and read a book, watch the boaters and take in the gorgeous view of Chickamauga Lake. There is a boat launch there though I couldn't speak to the condition of it, but I do see a few boaters here and there launch out from the park. Also there is what looks like a pretty decent pool at the park, but I did not see it in use the last couple of times I was there around the middle of the summer.
Gteat hiking trails for an easy hike. Nice picnic areas. Swimming pool. Restrooms. Fishing from the bank allowed. Pets on leash allowed. Camping spots are nice
