The park is right off 75 and directly next to Volkswagen Chattanooga Plant. Go check it out so many cool bunkers. The park is huge, nearly 2600 acres.
Absolutely fantastic park! You can walk, run, bike, hammock, explore, and so much more! There are super-cool TNT bunkers that you can walk in to and listen for echo, there's a hidden lake with beautiful swinging benches, and the nature trails are superb.
This place is great for mountain biking. It's free and open almost all the time. I've had many great experience with friends riding bicycles here
Huge awesome park numerous trails for biking hiking and walking even some possibility of horse trails in the future. Then the super cool bunkers at least 100 bunkers dating from WW2.
Recently moved to California after growing up in TN. This is one of the places, if not the place I miss the most. Great place for mountain biking or jogging, always nice people around. Someone ride the trail for me until i come back!
Was my first time visiting. I am avid hiker. Live in the suburbs of Atlanta. Trail was not clearly marked. The loops within the trail were not marked and confusing. Easy hike. Nicely laid out for a family or dog walkers. Not Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Bike trails seem interesting, would have like to been able to walk them.
