The staff is amazing! I had to put one of my beloved cats to sleep because of an uncureable disease and they were so very compassionate. They explained everything in detail and didn’t rush me letting me take him home to live as long as he could before it was time. They also let me stay in the room with him as long as I needed and that was a huge help so that I could say goodbye.

I need to add to this because I saw a different doctor named Dr. Brock today. I am very aggravated because he just didn’t seem to care what so ever about any question I asked. He even seemed irritated that I wanted to talk about more than just the reason for the visit (hair loss). All I wanted to know was what a cat normally needs each year thinking that they should at least have a rabies shot.

We've been patients of Dr. Brock for over two years. He is very gentle, well-mannered, caring, and very conservative when it comes treating my dogs . Dr. Brock staff are sweet and helpful and very accommodating. I will highly-recommend you seeing him. Sushi, Monkey, Chi-Chi, and Trevor enjoy seeing him every six-months. Thank You.

Last night around 11:00 P.M. EST we noticed that one of our puppies isn't putting any weight on her back left leg. The puppy also isn't playing as active as the other puppies. We tried calling our primary veterinarian. Unfortunately they were fully booked for another week. Our veterinarian recommended that we call another clinic or go to an emergency clinic. Desperate, we called around until we found availability at Highway 58 Animal Hospital. I wish I had read the reviews and found another clinic... When you walk in the place is clean and their salt water aquarium is a bit dirty but decent. I told my partner that I liked how they had a dog section and cat section. The front desk staff was nice but that's where the good part of our experience ended. We went back hopeful that they could help our puppy. The vet tech veterinary technician was very impersonal. The table was dirty and covered in dog hair. Our puppy is only two weeks and five days of age so I was concerned about the risk of contamination and disease. When I asked her to clean the table she exclaimed that she'd just cleaned it. I pointed out the dirt and dog hair on the table. After giving me a snarky glare she spayed and wiped the table down very quickly without allowing the disinfectant to work. Reluctantly, I set the puppy down on the table with a towel in between her and the surface. She took the puppy's weight and temperature. She then left and came back with Dr. Lebron Brock. He is an older man that looked like he had years of experience in his field and dressed professionally. I'd kept a small glimmer of hope up to this point. Dr. Brock came off very impersonal, not compassionate and dry. He took the puppy and began to examine her. He listened to her heart but never check her ears, eyes, mouth, nose, or other parts. He only examined her leg and moved it different directions. He'd verbally told us that he couldn't feel any fractures, torn ligaments or joints. We were told to wait until Tuesday and then bring the puppy back in if she was still bothered by her leg. He didn't prescribe her any pain medication due to "digestive upset" but said that she was in pain if she wasn't using her leg. He also wanted to take X-rays on Tuesday. I feel that I have been ripped off for my money. My own primary veterinarian recommend that she go to an emergency veterinary clinic if no one else was available. Yet, he just treated the examine like another quick cash in his pocket and that it was nothing to worry about. He examined her for an estimated five minutes maximum. I've never been in a veterinary clinic where I ever felt that a veterinarian didn't care about the well being of animals. Regrettably, I paid and signed for no answers on my puppy. I'm left with a puppy who still isn't using her back left leg and I'm out money on it. I feel like I've let my puppy down by taking her there. Now I have to attempt to find another veterinary clinic to examine her and hopefully provide us with answers.

My favorite vet office and I’ve been to plenty! The staff is incredibly friendly they actually care about your pet and the vets have ALWAYS paid close attention and addressed all of my concerns when it comes to my fur babies.

Friendly, caring, professional, helpful, affordable. What more can your ask for in a vet? They're always patient with my dog that gets nervous in vet offices and take plenty of time to make her comfortable before doing whatever needs to be done.
