The first time I ever attended this place, I was just a vegetarian visiting with another vegetarian friend. That was nearly four years ago, and now I've been vegan for a year. This place has always felt cozy and cool, very modern and good for the college crowd. The music is always pleasant and the company of the staff is superb. Everyone is friendly and seems happy to be there. I didn't like barbecue anything before I came into Sluggo's and got their BBQ sub. The menu and their specials are so varied and delicious - they can even accommodate my many allergies. Just communicate your needs and your requests will be met to the best of their capabilities! Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It's a neat, quaint little place at home in Chattanooga. If you like Aretha Frankenstein's, you'll love Sluggo's.
Nice chill vibe, the food is simple, yet phenomenally seasoned. I’ve never had a bad plate of food. This is always my go to when I travel through Chattanooga, highly recommended!
I love Sluggo's. They have a varied menu of VEGAN food! Whether you just want a sandwich or a full meal there is an option available. My favorite item is their cheesy grits. They have daily specials so you won't get bored by the same old menu, today they may have something entirely new or something you have not had for awhile. Whether you eat in or take out, service is good and so is the food.
Amazing food and good prices! Paid $20 for two entres and we were both so full! Taste is great even if you're not vegan. Stop and have a meal it's worth it. *.*
The sweet Thai chili bowl was awesome! The atmosphere is cozy and service is great. I will definitely eat here again when I'm in town. Highly recommend that everyone give it a try.
