This place is really unique. I stumbled across this place one night while walking back to my hotel. The decor is hip and tasteful given the location, relative to campus. This shop has such a different perspective on ice cream and desserts. As opposed to from a list of flavors, you choose from a list of toppings or ingredients. Then those are all blended up and tossed in a cone or in a bowl. The kicker, they even have soy options! If you're in the area and looking for some ice cream, definitely make this a stop.

The prices were somewhat high especially when the size and quality of the ice cream where considered. I ordered a sundaes with Carmel and nuts my granddaughter got a small scoop of strawberry. The prices was 11.50 plus a tip. I tipped $3.00 before tasting my sundae. There was 6 half pecans nuts and maybe a table spoon of Carmel. So basically it was just a large scoop of Val. ice cream. In my past visits ( 8 total ) I was always pleased with the product but this time something had changed. I suppose the "only thing constant is change", just would have rather these changes were for the better. Maybe time to change where I purchase my granddaughter s treats at since hers was very small amount for the price.

One of the first places I ever visited after moving to Chattanooga. The Ice Cream Show is downtown classic. What's better than a walk across the walnut street bridge? A walk with an ice cream in your hand. They've got plenty of flavors to choose from and yummy freshly made waffle cones to hold them in.

They offer a wide assortment of toppings and they blend it with the ice cream instead of just leaving it on the top. Their waffle cones are especially good. Always a fun stop after walking across the bridge.

As a previous reviewer had noted, this is a very unique ice cream shop. You build your ice cream from scratch, there are 17,000 possible combinations, and it's all quite simple. A tad expensive, but worth it for the uniqueness of the experience and the deliciousness of the ice cream. The photo of our ice cream is their largest size, as far as we could tell. Indoor and outdoor seating.
