Doctors don't seem to know what they are doing. I've never got back ANY labs results that they order for me. They send you to room to room. Very unorganized. The nurse practioner asked me if i already gave the urine sample and I mentioned that I was never told to do one, and so again, I was sent to another room to do that. I'm constantly asked throughout my visit of my name. I feel like this facility needs improvement, and rooms need to be more sanitary.
I had bloodwork done that I never got results back from, no one ever calls you back. And no one knows what they are doing in there half the time.
I have had an appointment scheduled for two weeks. I started my period. I called beforehand. This is another backwoods, Bible Belt, misogynistic, period-shaming doctors office who tried to tell me to reschedule. I asked the nurse why an OBGYN can't deal with a vagina performing its natural functions. She said it's the doctors protocol not to swab me while I'm bleeding because he can't get a clear view of my cervix. So you mean to tell me that when I'm spread wide open with that speculum, a little blood gets in the way when you can see clear to the other side of the world in that situation? I let the nurse know the doctor clearly doesn't know his job so I definitely won't be rescheduling with some half assed period shaming misogynist. This is ridiculous. A PAP SMEAR CAN BE DONE DURING YOUR PERIOD LADIES. If you're seeing a doctor who doesn't know this, change doctors. IMMEDIATELY.
