Rivermont Park is a great place to run and walk your dog. It's also a great place for the men of Chattanooga to gather at 6:50 on Saturday mornings, of their own free will, in temperatures ranging from 9 to 90 degrees and conditions ranging from starlit to monsoonish to sweltering, to give it their all for an hour and launch into the day with power and impact.
I play Kickball here. Great park.
I like coming to the park on the weekends. There are paths to ride your bike on, a boat ramp for the river, open baseball fields, tennis courts, restrooms, picnic tables, a pavilion, and a playground. I enjoy riding my bike or walking around the gravel path that encircles the baseball fields.
