One of the best hidden treasures in Chattanooga! Food is awesome and the staff are very courteous. Burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tortas, stuffed with your choice of about 8 different meat options make for an amazing treat. Included are a fresh cut lime, grilled pepper and a couple of homemade sauces that help kick up the heat and flavor of their authentic delights!
Carnitas Carmelita's food is deliciously authentic, offering a variety of meat selections from plain chicken to hog guys...All of it wonderfully seasoned, although I usually go no further down the GI tract of swine than the stomach, but the Buche and tripa are both delicious. And at the risk of sounding like a big ole yuppie, gringo. The carne asada is amazing. So, in the end, go for the meats, put it on any vessel you like; taco, torta, burrito, or quesadilla! It's all good, all the time!
