I recently ate there with 8 guys I used to work with. We ate at Chedder's because 2 of the guys liked the place. Now we all like it. The food tasted great and the portions were larger than many places. They were busy by 11:20, but the food was ready in a reasonable length of time and the servers were great. I believe all of our meals were in the $8-10 range. We all ordered different things and we all enjoyed our meals.
Olivia, our waitress, was very attentive even though she had several large parties to care for, when we needed some extra help. Our experience and the quality of our meal here makes us wish we could be regulars here. We'll be back! Management is awesome too.
Our waitress was Amber. This experience started just fine, but somewhere along the way she must've gotten annoyed with our party. This happened to be my gf's birthday... not a great time to be rude to the customers. We were charged for drinks we did not want. Her response was that "they" told her to charge us for them. When I asked multiple times about what specials they may give to birthday celebrations, she said cookies. When I asked her a final time about those cookies, she said a manger would bring them out. At least thats what i think she said...she mumbled it while walking away. Terrible experience! I am in the service industry and would be written up for this appalling experience! Since when has it been so difficult to perform your job to a satisfactory level? You sell the experience...the food, at a place like this, should do the rest. I'm sorry we came here.
I've been told they get extremely crowded for lunch after church on Sunday, so there is a long wait.
This place never seems to let down. And they are always packed. Very speedy service for being packed and the food is always good. The croissant rolls are the best I've ever had. The ribs are super tender, the chicken strips are good. The spinach appetizer is mouth-watering, I can't get this food in my rhubarb hole fast enough. They are always a buck or two cheaper on most every meal compared to other like restaurants. Very smart.
It was our first time in the restaurant. Every thing was wonderful! The food was so good. The server was attentive and nice. The manager brought us over cookies because it was our first time there!!! It was great!!!
