Stayed in the campground which was an excellent value and easy on/from 75. Spots are somewhat narrow but can accommodate a 40ft. rig with slides. Only complaint is that the don't allow you to reserve your spot prior to arrival, it's first come first serve.
0 stars! Very annoyed with the sales staff. I understand you probably are commission paid, whatever. But I have never felt more "harassed" as I do having to walk through the gauntlet of sales people to even get to look at campers. NO I do not want to fill out your paper, NO I don't want a million phone calls/emails. I WILL come to you when we need help or have questions. I was ready to leave before I even got to the campers on the lot. VERY FRUSTRATING. Will not buy from here. Not to mention the horror stories we have been told about he parts and repair department. We have been campers for quite some time and this was NOT a good experience. And from reading the previous reviews sounds like this is a big issue from many. Maybe take a hint??!
Had a great experience trading our motor home for a new pull behind Kodiak Ultimate. Everyone in sales, financial and customer service worked tirelessly for two and a half days to find the right camper for us and get the best deal possible. Couldn't be more satisfied.
I was sorely disappointed that no user manuals were supplied with the unit I bought. Here I sit in Amarillo, Texas and I don't know why I can't get the instant hot water heater to work. Three days on the road to home in Nevada and NO SHOWER. Camping world is a Thor dealer. Why don't they have owners manuals available. My unit is on a Ford F-450 chassis. I don't know how much oil it takes or what the recommended oil change interval is. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL?
They are horrible. We bought a hot water heater and new awning from them and had to take trailer to another repair shop because neither were correct. Even after multiple complaints to corporate still no one reached out to fix the problem. Camping World told us there were 3 leaks and offered to fix. My husband is handy and said no. He fixed 1 leak, there weren’t any other. They put the wrong poles on the awning and the door rubbed from day 1. We refused to take back to Camping World because of horrible customer service (not even discussed)experience. We took to another RV repair shop nearby and they worked with vendors to get us a new water heater and fix awning. They found a piece of tape stuffed into closed gas line, we can only assume the did it to sabotage us. Do not go there!
