I have no idea how this terrible auto shop can have such positive reviews. I think they must be plants.
Honest and a hard-working team. We have used Maxi of Hixson for many years and will continue to do so. You can't beat a better staff. EVERYONE needs to use them. Loyal loyal loyal!!!
I can to them with a busted a.c. Gary told someone had put household Freon into the a.c. and it should start running colder a little later. A week went by and still no cold air. So I took it back and Gary seemed annoyed and told me he would be able to work on it for 3 more days. So when I finally took it to them, they kept it for 2 days and charged my car lot 900 dollars. Guess what? Still no cold air!
If the maxi corporation values it's Hixson store, they will replace Gary with a kinder, more knowledgable manager
Ive never seen such an ignorant and understaffed mechanic in my life! Please avoid these guys at any cost. They are a hundred little shops in Chattanooga, choose anyone but these guys.

I have been using the Hixson, TN location for over 8 years now. I have a relationship established with both of the service technicians...they are honest, fair and quickly handle all my car repairs.
They changed my brakes for a reasonable price. I am from Louisiana and called them up and they were able to work on them as soon as I dropped it off and was done very quick.
I went there a week ago got my breaks replaced for 250$ it was a convenient amount of time to have them done since I had work. He was the most antisocial human being on the planet didn’t tell me a thing he was doing. No communication whatsoever. Which was fine as long as everything worked. The next day on my way to work the brand new breaks started clicking. So very bad work done on them. The “sitting” area was nasty also. Will never go back.
