I called 8 different places to get quotes on 4 new tires for my Dodge Nitro. Pep Boys was the lowest cost I could find in the area. Tires were installed quickly and professionally. The staff I dealt with were friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Overall, I've been satisfied with the service at Pep Boys. Just got new tires on my Explorer and had my brakes checked, and while they said I needed to replace a couple of things that could probably wait a while, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I interacted primarily with Clarke and Robert, who were both very professional and gladly answered all of my questions. They sometimes have buy 3 get one free deals on tires, too, so be sure to ask when you're there!
I'm afraid Pep Boys must be ailing because the amount of inventory has decreased substantially in the last couple of years.
You have to be careful on their prices. Occasionally they are not competitive
The staff is always helpful.
