When customers have issues, they are quick to write a bad review, but not as quick to take time to write good reviews when they obtain good or great service, out of hundreds or thousands of possible repairs that are completed. The older gent at the counter was super friendly & professional, even though it was quite busy from lot of drop-by customers. I love my tires which has helped both in my driving comfort and my passengers riding. The printout of the problems discovered in the "Free Alignment check" are superb and extremely helpful! Kudos Sears!
Waited 35 mins. while the service writer handled other duties (I was the only one in the waiting area) to get a simple oil change. NEVER AGAIN!
They screwed up on two repair jobs in past.....the will not get the opportunity again.
Came for a simple oil change. My vehicle was promised to be done by 12pm. The work order "time in" was 11:04am. At 11:56 my car was still sitting in the parking. I was waiting for the vehicle, and watched the "mechanics" stand around talking the entire time they were supposed to be changing my oil. At 12pm I asked the service manager if my car was done. He went to check on the status, when he returned he said "they were working on it." I watched them pull my car in after that. The service here is terrible and I do not recommend using this place!
This is the worst customer service I have thus far. I really enjoyed Sears but now this has truly turned me off. So I set up an appt online so that when I get there my car could be worked on. I reached the auto center 30 min before my reservation. The guy told me that the mechanic was at lunch. So I waited until it was closer to my appt time. Then 19 min past my appt time the front desk clerk said that the mechanic just finshed working on a car and after that he Will be going on lunch. Consequently he said he won't be able to get to my car till 4 but I put in a reservation and I was the next car to work on. I just don't understand why I put in a reservation in the first place if I was going to have to wait 2hrs before being seen. I will not go to another Sears again. #iamblackalso. Terrible customer service. I would've never driven for 2 hrs if I can't be seen
Have used Sears for many years....The center at Northgate has proved to be perhaps the worst customer service of any organization I've been associated with.
Contrary to the other reviewers, we received exceptional service here. On the last leg of our return trip to Georgia, the battery in our Toyota Highlander died just north of Chattanooga. A good samaritan gave us a jump and we went in search of the nearest Sears Auto Center; we arrived at this location less than a half hour before closing on a Sunday afternoon. Our vehicle was immediately taken to the back and promptly serviced; we were back on the road in less than 45 minutes. I couldn't be happier with the service we received.
