We didn't have much of a choice as we evacuated last minute from Florida. Was not worth $93 a night but was one of the only hotels to accept pets. Our smoke alarm wouldn't stop beeping so we had to get someone to fix it. Our phone also didnt work so we had to walk down to the office every time we needed something. Also, tent in small tree/forest area behind the hotel where homeless would be. Overall, stay was not bad. Just not a value.
First - the motel was being painted while there, no signs that the handrails had been painted and my husband got a handful of paint. Second - the painters were slinging paint over and around parked cars. Third-we needed a couple of extra pillows and towels, the front desk gave me one of each, and explained that was all they had. Fourth- no shampoo /Conditioner, but we did get a bar of soap and mouthwash.... I think that sums up our stay...
Had to clean the tub before I used it. Pretty dirty. Turned yellow so I assumed it was pee. Kept smelling smoke in a none smoking room. Was told the cost was 55 before I came and it was 64 which I wasn't told. Would've been nice to know before driving there. It wasn't horrible, staff knocked to see if I was ready to check out even though I still had time left lol. It was pretty funny, but I was busy and those interruptions held my app process up. There were some nice staff, but I will say I will pass on going back.
Clean Hotel! I was hesitant at first look, but when we went inside the actual room it was really clean and it had a good odor. The staff was really nice, we evacuated from FL bc if hurricane Irma and they allowed us to put charcoal grill so we can have a decent dinner. We had access to ice for our coolers and the fridge from the room was small but I was surprised how much fit. Kid and pet friendly right next to a gas station.
Not a bad place to stay for the price. Close to the interstate and all the attractions felt safe being a single woman staying here under remodeling so they do have a few things to work out yes I would stay again
