Beds are hard and room smelled of mildew. Opted not to stay the 2nd night and just came home early. Good restaurant/bar and pool.
I've been a big fan of the Holiday Inn for the longest. I've stayed in many holiday Inn across the country since I travel for work. Sadly this Holiday Inn in Hamilton Place Chattanooga gave me the worse customer service. I've been on a business trip for over a week at this location and I brought along my newborn daughter with me. I woke up in the afternoon with my baby and found a room infested with BUGS all over our belongings. I complained to the front desk and they asked me to move to another room in condition that I moved all my belongings to the new room. I had to be at work within an hour and I told them it was impossible for me to move out all my stuff right away one because I had to throw the infested clothes out, wash my baby bottles etc and second because I wouldn't want to move to the new room and bring the #BUGS along in the new room and I had to get to work within an hour but I'll happily move out all my stuff once I get back from work. Meanwhile for concerns for my newborn health my family had to be moved to the new room immediately. Instead of accommodating me and my family the staff refused that I leave my belonging in the infested room. He was extremely rude speaking to me in a disrespectful manner. I then asked to speak with a manager they told me the manager wasn't in the office. An hour later or so I get a call from the manager stating that I'm creating problems (because I complained about bugs in my room) and she told me she wants me out of the hotel with my newborn baby . I'm still shocked and really disappointed at Holiday Inn in Hamilton Place. I've always gave great reviews to this hotel and it's sad that they're treating me and my family this way
Very beautiful hotel, everything is up to date, bed is comfortable. Great place to stay if you don’t mind lady bugs everywhere. My husband caught at least 10 before we went to bed, and two more were on the ceiling and wall when we woke the next morning.
The check-in process was quick and painless. The room was in good condition, and we loved the shower stall. I'm well over 6 feet tall, and it's rare that a hotel shower has the shower head placed so high. We found a great price online and will definitely look at this hotel the next time we're in town
Friendly staff! Looked like a new building! Had a restaurant with its own food but they give you breakfast tickets to eat a comp breakfast from the breakfast bar. Clean, quiet, and nice. Would stay again.
