Front desk staff were very friendly! Comfortable room. Seems silly, but I was impressed they actually had soap dishes. Usually the soap just gets everywhere and makes a mess on the sink. Breakfast was okay, but the lady working the breakfast room was way too intense and off-putting. Overall a positive experience, though.
STAY HERE! This is one of the cleanest, most well run Holiday Inns I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few. Very clean, best friendly staff, right off the bat upgraded me to their best suite because I was a member of their rewards program, didn't even have to ask or say anything, definitely stay here and I will be looking forward to going back. I was on business, and the hotel ran so smoothly it made everything easier, the breakfast was always out early, and on time, it was always good, made getting to the office so easy. I can't say enough good things about my stay at this hotel. The maid staff was amazing as well. Everything was great, front desk, maid, and breakfast staff.
This hotel has been recently renovated. It has a nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and updated rooms. Be sure to call ahead for an upgrade if you are a Priority Club member.
Very courteous staff and well maintained hotel rooms and clean sheets. I did not had any issues during my stay and enjoyed my stay here and will recommend this hotel over others anytime.
The front desk recommended I come in the back door, as my room was right by it. The back door had a small rock placed in it to keep it from closing all the way, which I removed. When I first approached my room, I couldn't get the door to open. The handle was dangling like someone had tried to force it down and broken it, and there were scratches on the door frame like someone had tried to break in. I approached the air conditioner and opened the door to the control panel (no thermostat on the wall) and the door fell off. The tub looked dirty, but upon closer inspection, I figured out it was just badly scratched up. There were exposed concrete blocks with paint peeling off of them in the bathroom, as well as spots of what appears to be mold in the corner, and masonry mud stuck to the floor presumably left over from a sloppy repair. The curved shower curtain rod was hung crookedly by what looks like wood screws haphazardly drilled through a makeshift brace, and it is hung so high that the shower curtain leaves a large gap at the bottom. I am a platinum elite IHG member. I have stayed in quite a few Holiday Inn Express hotels, and they are usually very consistent. What I've seen of the rest of the building has appeared pretty standard for the chain, but based on my room, I would not recommend this hotel.
