Our wedding ceremony was planned and hosted at the Mayor's Mansion. I liked that they had a variety of options to chose from and virtually everything could be customized. We just told them the color theme and set them lose. We provided the wedding "soundtrack", made a few choices about food and group size....and just let them do their thing. Everything came off beautifully. No hassle and worry about planning details - just memories.
The most beautiful mansion you can choose for your stay, the staff is so friendly, thoughtful, amazing really. They waited for us to arrive, told us the best places in town to visit, modified our breakfast as per our dietary needs. I couldn't say enough good things about this place.
Not only is this place beautiful, but the staff and customer service were incredible! We held a small bridal luncheon here and the food and atmosphere was amazing. Cindi, the owner, was great to work with and made everything so easy. I would highly recommend this location for any special event!
The most beautiful inn I've ever seen. The whole place is crawling with history and is filled with that wonderful library-like smell. My husband and I had a very modest elopement there last September, and it was the most beautiful ceremony. We hosted it on the front porch, and Cyndi made the whole process like a dream. Our room was absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in the Rising Fawn suite which had the most gorgeous natural lighting as well as a 300 gallon bathtub. I recommend it to everyone!
Picked the mayor's Mansion Inn for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. The building was absolutely beautiful. Over 100 years old and in great condition. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. Our room had plenty of space and everything we needed. Would recommend this to anyone needing a place to stay with their significant other, or someone looking for a place that has more character than your typical hotel chain. We left pleased with our stay and I wished we could have made it our mansion for another night.
Mr. Ladd was a terrific officiant and things just unfolded beautifully per the timeline they gave us prior to the big day. I can't really recommend them enough for those looking to have a relaxed ceremony. We have friends who used them for an even smaller ceremony prior to ours and we were impressed with how they functioned like a well-oiled wedding machine.
