Very hospitable staff; good free breakfast and reasonable price
I have stayed here twice. The only real quality I have seen in the hotel is the breakfast area. Last time I stayed I was bitten by bedbugs. Avoid if possible.
Ok for the price. The room was clean, but there was construction going on early in the morning that was very loud. Apparently there is no elevator either. Could be worse but I'd prefer better.
Made reservation online before seeing--big mistake. Lobby adequate, but when we walked into our room (#120) we were immediately assaulted by a strong mildew/mold odor. Since it was late, we decided to get used to it and suck it up. We also realized that the odor was coming from the old window air conditioner that had probably never been cleaned. We turned it off and sweltered all night, thinking about legionnaires disease and the effects of mold on health. At 4:30 am awakened by someone either coming or going through our thin, ill-fitting door, and couldn't get back to sleep for hours. We left a day earlier than necessary to find a decent hotel. This place does not provide a restful night, and in my opinion is a health hazard and should be shut down.
