The hotel was very clean and decorated nicely. The staff was also friendly and helpful! We definitely liked how close the hotel is to the Aquarium and other local attractions. The only downside to this hotel is that the bed was awful, it was like sleeping on a brick. We brought up the issue to the staff, but the only thing that could be done was to give us another comforter as a cushion. This could be personal preference, but we didn't sleep at all the nights we were there because the bed was so uncomfortable. Everything else was wonderful though!
The location of the hotel is super close to the aquarium. The rooms are nice, clean and fairly sound proof. The hotel is filled with families this weekend and I can't hear any of them unless we're in the shared common areas. The staff are all very friendly and courteous. We had an issue with our toilet when we first arrived and that was immediately fixed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip with your family. It's very nice to have a small kitchen to prepare bottles and food
Would you rather have a motel room or an apartment? That's the difference here at the Residence Inn. Your comfort is 10 times more than a regular hotel room. Entirely like home. The staff here is great! Can't say anything better.
Great location, clean spacious rooms, great staff
The reviews on the Marriott site and TripAdvisor were completely misleading. Several concerns
2) The parking gate does not work. We reached around midnight and had to wait for the ONLY person on duty to notice and open the gate.
4) The mattresses - both the bed and the sofa were extremely old and creeky.
1) The room was not serviced fully when we checked in and there were no towels. We had to request. So since it was late, I decided to wait till the next day. The room was not serviced the next day as well. Complaints to the front desk were politely answered and they said they will ask the GM to call me. But no one has so far contacted me.
I stayed here last weekend and was extremely disappointed with this property. I am a Platinum Marriott rewards member and I dont think there is enough oversight at this property. There is complete lack of concern overall.
I would not recommend this hotel.
