Host was nice and courteous
Got to room and things started going down hill.
I've been a Choice Privileges member for more than 20 years and this is the worst Choice family hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in some bad ones. First room we were given had defective fire alarm, next room someone was already in, third room, which was the charm, had no heat working with sub freezing temps outside. It was well past midnight so I slept in my sweats, socks and ski cap and called it a night. All rooms smelled of smoke. The clerk the next day looked at me like I stole something when I told her what happened the night before. Avoid this place!
Nice clean room, comfortable bed and the amenities such as a refrigerator / microwave / iron / hair dryer along with a in-room safe and a nice step in shower with clear glass door. Room showed wear, but that comes with popularity and I am not holding that against this location. Breakfast is hot egg / sausage along with you-fix waffles. Was just a short stay just long enough to sleep, eat breakfast and hit the road - but next time in the area I plan on staying here again.
wife & I stayed here at Sleep Inn November 23-25 for a getaway trip to enjoy some time away and Black Friday shop. First of all, I will give credit where credit is due. The outsides and lobby/hallways have had a nice paint job. Now on the other hand the rest of the place is a dump. Upon checking in it took the young gentlemen about 10 minutes of me knocking on the counter to get his attention to even recognize I was there and he was a complete smartelic when attempting to assist me. The rooms look horrible and are in terrible condition. Walls look like they haven’t been painted in 50 years with scrapes, streaks of filth, bathroom shower had been patched numerous times, overhead molded, and urine streaked walls. Bed was completely broke down. The only thing that was half decent was the TV. The breakfast would have been good if someone was there to keep stocked with food and when I confronted the desk they just stared at me like they could care less and shrugged their shoulders. Too many other things to stay but to make a long story short, customer service is lousy here and I will
never return. Being a Choice privilege member and a faithful one to the chain, I feel I should be entitled to a refund.
Driving late looking for a place and Checked in.
The smell in the room was terrible half stale half funk. This room needs a stick up air freshener. Then the heater fan motor has a bad bearing and whined half the night. Looked up and see dark moldy looking substance by fire detector. Yuck!!! Breath!!!! Then a glance over at wall and a yellow substance had been leaked down the wall. Honestly not impressed. Curtain torn, The only high light of this stay was a hot shower and checking out. Will not be back.
Very comfortable, friendly staff, and a convenient location. Easily accessible from I-75, which makes any part of Chattanooga easy to reach. Staff is very helpful. Included breakfast and Wifi. Plenty of convenient parking. Good for business or pleasure. Overall a pleasant stay.
