Awesome place! Very friendly staff, great amenities, spotlessly clean. For an upscale hotel, downtown and sitting on the river, this was surprisingly inexpensive. There was no tub in our room but it had a wonderfully roomy shower. There is a very nice indoor pool and hot tub as well as a large outdoor guest area with a fire pit that looks over the river. There is a full bar in the common area. The location is excellent and it was an easy walk to the aquarium, downtown restaurants and not a bad drive to the Rock City attractions. We didn't get a river view room but I'm sure they have beautiful views. This has all the details you would expect in a more expensive hotel for a fairly reasonable rate.
We had 6 people in a room that sleep 6. Two queens and a pull out couch. The pull out bed was the typical uncomfortable feel every bar possible. The bathroom had only one sink so only one person at a time could get ready. They only gave us 4 towels everyday when we were registered as 6. Everything is electronic anymore so that means things need to be charged. It would be easier to find Waldo then an available socket that you don't have move furniture to get too. Oh and a lovely non feature....no lock on the bathroom door. The room is dimly lit. You have to turn on all 6 lamps and the bathroom light to get the room adequately lit. The pool looks more like a short lap pool. The parking is always full and cramped and far away. Also you get charged to park there even though you're already a guest. But you will have a great breakfast if you get down earlier enough.
Great customer care for residential and commercial visitors, suites are quite nice, and amenities (pool, business access, etc) are good. Free breakfast (both days there, they had both hard-boiled and scrambled eggs, a meat choice (one day was bacon, another day was had slices), cereals (hot and cold), breads (apple muffins, bagels, bread slices) with available toaster, fruit (melons and strawberries), yogurt (Greek and normal), milk, coffee, juices, cocoa, and probably some other items I didn't see or for about. Decent selection, in my opinion. Front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable about events in the area. I never used room service, so I cannot contribute about that.
Beautiful, modern hotel located right on the Tennessee River. The riverview is incredible. Friendly, courteous staff. Clean, spacious rooms. It's located just a bit out of the downtown area so it's very quiet, but you have to drive (or walk a fair bit) to get the many downtown restaurants.
I stayed here on a brief business trip with colleagues. The staff was super friendly and the property was very nice and clean. Out back is a river with patio seating and a fireplace to relax. The building was recently built (2017) so it had all the modern amenities. The lobby has a great area to gather with coworkers to regroup before a meeting or meet with family and friends. Would highly recommend to other business travelers.
