Pretty nice place. The parking lot fills up quick, the door only has one lock as far as safety. (Didnt like that) glad I had my card bc I seen a note at front desk stating if you pay with cash, there is a $200 deposit and after inspection you will receive it back if there are no discrepancies. I stayed two different times and received two different prices each stay. $56 my first night $62 the next night and my military discount was applied both times. So not sure of the reasons on that one. But overall it was a nice spot. Oh the coffee pot didn't work
I stayed here two nights. The bed was huge. The room was clean. The environment wasn't sketchy like some extended stay hotels. There was no noise. For 55 bucks you can't beat this deal. This wasn't the best hotel I've stayed at but for 55 it was best Value. Employees was very helpful. It's walking distance to the mall also. The kitchen was nice. Did I mention that the room is very spacious. I'll definitely be back.
The walls are really thin and you can hear everything, including what sounded like renovations in the middle of the night. The room was pretty nice, but the TV remote wasn't programmed correctly so you couldn't watch anything other than the Roku. I also thought it was Motel 6 corporate policy to not charge for pets? There was no mention of the pet charge when I made the reservation- and I checked. If I had 20 dollars a night to spare I would probably stay somewhere else, but we were tired from a long drive and had no desire to go anywhere else. So on top of getting charged for a room when we were still 3 hours from actually checking in we got charged an extra 20 dollars plus tax that we had no idea we would have to spend.
My daughter and I stayed with Studio 6 on the way to dropping her off at school. There was no parking anywhere near to our room, I guess they were close to full that night. The room was dirty. One of the locks on the door didn't work, actually it was broken off. We killed 3 cockroaches before we put down our bags. There were no hangers in the closet, and the doors to the closet were broken as well. We couldn't shower because the shower was so dirty; mold on the shower head and around the drain. The toilet appeared clean on the seat, but there was something on the area below the bowl that resembled old vomit or worse. The shelves in the fridge were broken. The TV didn't work, and when I called the front desk he offered to come and try to fix it, but we were already in our jammies.
I should have read the reviews before deciding staying here. The bedrooms are not in bad shape, the have a mini oven, a decent size refrigerator and microwave. But our room was dirty to the point that I went to the supermarket to buy a multi-surface cleaner. Luckily we brought some paper towel with us, and I cleaned the whole room. I got by accident a smoke room, but that doesn't justify all the dirt and the really strong smell. With some paper towel and a organic cleaner I was able to "remove" the smell. Our key for some reason didn't work, the front desk (a very nice guy) tried two times and it wouldn't work. When we asked him how we would get back to the room he said: "just stop in the office and we come and open the door for you guys". It's kind annoying not having the key for your door and not being able to open whenever we like. The bathroom was kind nasty too, they had some hairs in the shower... the funny thing is that I left the room more clean than when we got here. I think they are lacking with hygiene. I mean, didn't take me much to clean the bedroom. I attached a picture of the paper towel after I cleaned the floor.
