This is a great place to eat traditional Indian cuisine. The food was great, and was served fast. The restaurant is clean, kind of quaint, the owners were very nice, and we look forward to eating there again.
I drive two hours just to eat here. It is the best Indian food I have ever had. The staff is wonderful and my glass is never empty.
This is a nice change from all the Chinese and Mexican places I normally go to. I hadn't tried Indian cuisine until this and I was pleasantly surprised. The spices were adjustable and heat level was just about right though next time I might go for medium heat instead of completely hot. The wait staff were nice and attentive and never left me with an empty drink glass. As a first time customer I think this will be something I will continue to come to for years to come.
Owner is very cheap/nasty!! Beware of stale/spoiled/undercooked foods! Please be careful!
We think India Mahal has very good food. Suki, the owner, is always very gracious and the service is very good. They have a really nice lunch buffet with just the right amount of vegetarian options and chicken options - including Tandoori Chicken. Atmosphere is slightly dated - but worth it for the yummy food and service.
By the way... I'm a local and I used to go here randomly for over 15 years. There used to be a time when there was decent food/good service. Terrible last 3 times I went!!! And the owner has changed a lot!!! Rude as can be. Being rude to locals/regulars who have lots of their friends come also...not very smart. Word of mouth spreads quick. Good luck India Mahal!
