These people just left me with my jaw dropped. To begin, I was told on the phone that the cost for my procedure would be $3800. I scheduled a consultation and charged a $50 non refundable fee. No big deal... So after a 2 hour drive to Chattanooga we make it to the appointment and it just felt very rushed and unprofessional. The Dr. made me feel as if I was "wasting his time". I felt like my questions were not important, like he just couldn't wait to get to his next client. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking well he is just a busy surgeon and I let it go. Then I go back to the finance office to talk about cost. I was informed my procedure would cost $1000 more. At this point things started going downhill for me. I was very upset that no one even mentioned that being a possibility before I drove all the way down there. So again, I thought mistakes happen, and I scheduled my surgery. I then lost my mind with these people when I called in to make the rest of my payment and NO ONE could tell me how to make the payment. It was not just one person, I called multiple times, spoke to multiple people... All you would get is a long "UHHHH I don't know I will have to find out or find someone that knows...." Once again not one person acted this way and said these things, multiple people did. HELLO!! Do you people not do this every single day? You should be able to quickly answer simple questions and have a set procedure on taking payments. My next issue came when I called with some additional questions I did not remember to ask in the consult. Left a message for the nurse and get a call back from someone that said she was nurse but could not answer one single question I asked her about surgical procedures they complete every day. 2 simple questions were answered with a long "UHHHHH I don't know" then followed by "maybe you should come back for a consult..." Nope not happening. Maybe take a note ask the Dr. and get back with me would have worked but she never even offered that. Between the unknowledgeable, uneducated sounding, brain dead staff I would not recommend this center to anyone. After the payment issues and the complete disregard to my medical questions I was done. I asked for a refund and took my business elsewhere.
Fabulous MDs and staff! I've had multiple procedures done with no concerns. The staff is always so accommodating, answering all all of my questions. The MDs are exceptional. I will continue to come here for hand and cosmetic treatment.
I went for a consultation with this group. When I scheduled I was told it was a complementary consultation. Soon after I received a bill in the mail, which proved that false. A receptionist called me a liar and said that they have not offered complementary consultations in 10 years and hung up on me. I have been calling for 5 weeks to talk to the office manager, including leaving her voice mails. She has never called me back a single time.
Dr was extremely rude, dismissive and had ZERO bedside manner. Would not recommend to anyone!
Dr Thurston is a great surgeon he has done a terrific job with our daughter. We are so thankful that he is here and so happy that he picked up where Dr Sergeant left off, we met with him once and right away he had a plan of action. Our daughter was born with a cleft palate and her first reconstruction was just after a year old and she is now five and we are very confident that Dr Thurston has given her the best treatment possible. He has done everything he said he would do and he has been spot on in telling us what to expect, he has taken the time to earn our daughter's trust and has always adrressed our concerns fully and he quickly handled some issues we had with the hospital during recovery. We are very fortunate to have such a capable and ethical doctor in this area and Erlanger Children's Hospital is lucky to have such an associate as him and has been bettered by his presence
I have been a patient of Dr Brazenski's since 2006 and had several procedures. I couldn't be happier because he is so professional and cares about his patients. If you aren't happy, he goes out of his way to correct it, without charge. I give him 5 stars and plan to keep using him as my doctor and friend.
